Manchester United are expected to release academy graduates Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Demetri Mitchell in the summer.
23-year-old Borthwick-Jackson has not played for the club since he signed a four-year contract in May 2016.
He has spent loan seasons at Wolves, Leeds United, Scunthorpe United, and Tranmere Rovers.
United have the option of an additional year on Borthwick-Jackson's deal but are set to let him leave on a free.
Mitchell, 23, has only played once for United. The left-back had two spells on loan with Hearts in 2018, however, has not played since suffering a knee injury in February 2019.
Mitchell returned to training in September.
