TWO ways Tottenham could LINEUP against Watford

Tottenham will visit Vicarage Road to face Watford on Saturday.  Watford have turned their season around after Nigel Pearson’s arrival. Only Liverpool have managed to get more points than Watford since the arrival of Pearson.  Meanwhile Tottenham have lost their latest home match to Liverpool, but fans were happy to see Japhet Tanganga in action as 20-year-old defender has appeared as a new top-choice for Jose Mourinho. Tanganga also started against Middlesbrough in the third round replay of the FA Cup and won Man of the Match award.  Mourinho used two different formations against Liverpool and Boro with 3 defenders and 4 defenders respectively.  With three defenders, Portuguese coach could play on counter-attacks, as he will have two wingbacks (Serge Aurier and Danny Rose or Ryan Sessegnon) added to Moura, Son and Alli. All above mentioned players could provide speed and vertical football, however, Mourinho could also switch to four defenders and use Tanganga as right back instead of Serge Aurier. With four defenders, Tottenham could be more dominant and control the ball. Tottenham’s probable lineup, 3-4-3 Tottenham probable lineup, 4-2-3-1
