Tyson Fury has revealed that “nothing has been signed” for a rematch with Deontay Wilder, despite the Bronze Bomber’s claims.
Fury takes on Tom Schwarz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in his first fight since his controversial draw with Wilder last December.
The Bronze Bomber revealed another bout had been agreed earlier this month.
Footage has emerged where Fury is asked about Wilder’s announcement but the 30-year-old looks confused at the news.
Fury’s revelation comes as:
After an awkward moment of silence, he answers: “
I’m not fighting Wilder, am I? I’m fighting Tom Schwarz.”
He goes on to make a damning claim about Fury vs Wilder II.
“I’ve got no interest in Deontay Wilder,” Fury added. “None at all. I’ve seen all of these rumours that I’ve signed a contract – I’ve signed nothing.”
The interviewer asks the Gypsy King to confirm he did not know anything about it.
Shaking his head, Fury continues: “
Not that I’m aware of unless someone signed it for me. And that’s illegal, so he sucks. He’s trying to get some fame off my back.”
This footage was shared on YouTube channel TMZSports yesterday.
