Manchester City are hoping to pick up the first win of their 2018-19 Champions League campaign when they take on Hoffenheim on Tuesday evening.
The Premier League champions suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Lyon in their opening Group F encounter, a result which left Pep Guardiola's side bottom after match week 1.
Tuesday's hosts secured a credible 2-2 draw away to Shakhtar Donetsk in their opening match.
Benjamin Mendy remains out and, so, Oleg Zinchenko or Fabian Delph could deputise for the France international.
Lukas Rupp, Dennis Geiger, Nadeem Amiri, Benjamin Hubner, Kerem Demirbay and Kasim Adams are all out for the hosts. Reiss Nelson, on loan from Arsenal, could feature for Hoffenheim.
This will be the first competitive meeting between the two clubs.
