Unai Emery reacts to Mesut Ozil performance after Arsenal beat Burnley

Unai Emery praised Mesut Ozil for his performance against Burnley and said it showed what the German can bring to Arsenal. Mesut Ozil produced a fantastic pass at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and opened the scoring for Arsenal. Second-half goals from Aubameyang and Alex Iwobi saw Arsenal run out 3-1 winners. Asked about Ozil’s display following the victory, Emery said: ‘[He played] very well. We want a Mesut like today.’ ‘It wasn’t a 3-1 game, I think all would agree with that. We conceded soft goals and one was marginally offside. ‘When you come here you do need decisions and so many went against us. ‘Ashley Barnes got an elbow in the face from an unnatural movement before the player goes over yet he gets booked. Arsenal face Brighton on Boxing Day before wrapping up 2018 with a trip to Anfield to take on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
