The Gunners head into the crucial Europa League last-16 second leg on Thursday night looking to overturn a 3-1 deficit from last week’s first leg.
Unai Emery’s side impressed in recent weeks with victories against Bournemouth, Southampton and most recently Manchester United in the Prmier League and now they will be looking to go on with their winning performances.
Head coach Unai Emery is convinced he has seen enough from his players to suggest they can get the victory they need.
“I think we are playing well now, we are feeling in a good moment,” said Arsenal’s head coach. “I am seeing the players and they give me a lot of confidence.
“I am very demanding of myself and want the players with the same spirit and same motivation for each match.
“The Premier League is very important but it’s also very important the Europa League. And on Thursday I want the players to give us big spirit, 100 per cent playing physically and tactically like we want.”
Emery started both Lacazette and Aubameyang in the win against United, but was remaining coy when quizzed on whether he would do the same on Thursday night.
“We have different possibilities tactically,” he said. “We’ve won and we’ve lost with every player.
“Every player is important and can play together and in different systems. My ambition, if we are playing with both or with only one and the other is on the bench, is that they help us with their behaviour and commitment with us.”
