Rodri has made an admission saying that Arsenal are an 'unbelievable' team following yesterday's Premier League clash.
Last night (January 1st) the Gunners hosted Manchester City where Pep Guardiola’s men took a 2-1 win at the Emirates.
Speaking to
BT Sport, the City midfielder, who scored a stoppage-time winner, admitted that the job Mikel Arteta is doing is ‘massive’.
“You always have these kinds of games, two or three in a season,” said Rodri.
“They are an unbelievable team. They show why they are in that position.
“The way they grow with Mikel is huge. It’s massive. We knew it. We know they rest more than us.
“They have six days to prepare. We had three games in one week. The travel is tough sometimes, so when you don’t have the physicality, maybe you have to play a little bit more easy. We struggle a little bit in the first half.
“I think in the second half, we controlled it a little bit more. But sometimes it’s like this. The other team also plays. They press a lot. And they did a great game.”
