The victims of Manchester United 2-2 draw against Chelsea: Chelsea coach fined by FA

Chelsea coach Marco Ianni has been fined £6,000 by the Football Association for celebrating in front of Jose Mourinho during the 2-2 draw with Manchester United. Following Ross Barkley’s injury-time equalizer at Stamford Bridge, Ianni celebrated the goal in front of the Manchester United manager and irritated him. Mourinho reacted angrily and was involved in a confrontation with the Chelsea manager. Ianni has now accepted the FA’s improper conduct charge and has been fined for his actions. A statement from the FA said: ‘Chelsea coach Marco Ianni has been fined £6,000 after he admitted an FA improper conduct charge. ‘It concerned his behaviour in the 96th minute of the game against Manchester United on 20 October 2018.’
