Victor Lindelöf's wife, Maja, has provided an update on Manchester United defender amid fitness issues.
The Sweden international was replaced on 74 minutes during the Red Devils' match against Norwich City at the weekend. After the clash, Ralf Rangnick revealed that the player was struggling to breathe.
"He doesn’t remember how it happened," the
manager said.
"I suppose he had a collision with another player and couldn’t breathe. He had problems to breathe and his heart-rate was higher than normal so we had to replace him.
"We’ve had him checked and had some examinations done by the doctor. And, so far, everything seems to be okay but he still seems a little bit shocked."
As reports MEN's Chief Manchester United writer Samuel Luckhurst, Lindelöf's wife has now informed on her blog:
"He [Lindelöf] did a lot of tests and has a heart monitor on for two days to make sure everything is OK."
