Manchester City's former captain Vincent Kompany is in talks with his former side to bring Lukas Nmecha to Anderlecht on loan, reports
Mike McGrath.
Kompany departed from Etihad last summer, joining his boyhood club, Anderlecht, as a player-manager. After a hard start at the Belgium side, ex-Citizen ended it strongly.
Now as the 34-year-old is eager to improve the squad for the next season, he has targeted Nmecha, with the club striker being sold Kemar Roofe this summer.
Nmecha has been City academy player since 2007. He has made 3 first-team appearances, making his Premier league debut as a substitute against West Ham in 2018. The youngster has had loan spells at Preston, Wolfsburg and Middlesbrough.
