Virgil van Dijk makes Liverpool prediction ahead of next season

Virgil van Dijk won the Champions League with Liverpool this season and according to some fans, he might as well win the Ballon d'Or. Liverpool defender has predicted a bright future for the Reds ahead of the next season as they will aim to win the Premier League. "I think the future looks pretty bright,” van Dijk told LiverpoolFC.com. “We have a fantastic team with players that want to develop, that want to give everything for the team and for the club. “[There is] so much quality in the team; sometimes you don’t even realise how good of [a group of] players we have – and also on the bench that want to play and be part of the team. So we have a fantastic future coming up.” As a reminder, Liverpool missed out on the chance to win the Premier League as they finished second with one point behind Manchester City.
