Virgil van Dijk has revealed how Liverpool are coping with Premier League title pressure from Manchester City-by ignoring the league table.
Liverpool are six points clear of the champions at the top of the table.
"It is very early in the season so you can't think too far ahead," said the centre-back. "If you look at the result (Manchester City) had against Wolves, nobody expected a defeat. You could expect maybe a result because Wolves have been fantastic last season and already this season, as well, so it is what it is.
"They have to win their games and we look at ourselves and try to win all of our games ahead of us in the Champions League, Carabao Cup and Premier League. We learned last year that we don't need to look at the league table for a long time. Everyone wants to be on top of the league, but everything can change."
