Divock Origi's goal in the last minutes was the only goal scored in the Merseyside Derby as Liverpool earned 3 points and with 36 points are 2nd.
Only 2 points gab is between Liverpool and league leaders Manchetser City (38).
And Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk claims that the Reds are ignoring Manchester City in the title race.
“There’s always pressure at the club, for Liverpool,” said the Dutch defender. “That’s a good thing.
“We don’t need to look to City. It’s good to stay close to them, but to win our games is the most important thing. We don’t need to think about them. They are doing an amazing job, but we need to look at ourselves.
“We try to win all our games. That’s how we go into every game and that’s the only way forward. We have a lot of tough games coming up and we need to keep improving as a team.
“For us now, it’s time to recover and be ready for Burnley because that’s going to be a very tough game.”
