Wales vs Argentina Prediction - Rugby World Cup 2023

The two sides have previously faced each other 21 times, with Wales celebrating a win over Argentina in their latest showdown back in November 2022 when Wales celebrated a victory.

Wales secured first place in Pool C by winning all four of their matches, notably defeating Australia with a convincing score of 40-6. Argentina claimed the second spot in their group, trailing England. They secured their place by winning a crucial match against Japan, following victories over Samoa and Chile.

Unfortunately, Wales will be missing their No. 8, Taulupe Faletau, due to a broken arm he sustained during a match against Georgia. Additionally, there are concerns about backup flyhalf Gareth Anscombe, who suffered a groin injury during the warm-up.

Argentina are facing uncertainty regarding the condition of their key forward, Pablo Matera. Coach Michael Cheika has expressed concerns about Matera's hamstring injury, indicating that the prognosis is not optimistic.

While all these facts could make an impact on the result, Vbet.com bookies have predicted Wales to be the winners. Wales are favorites in the Rugby World Cup 2023 and will surely be able to defeat Argentina and reach the next round.
