Wayne Rooney makes PL title race prediction

Former Everton and Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney believes Liverpool are favourites to win the title this season. Merseyside club have extended their winning streak to 17 matches (8 in a row, this season) to stay on the top of the table. Jurgen Klopp's side had a tough match at Anfield Road against Leicester City, which was decided by James Milner's late penalty. "In my opinion, Liverpool look the strongest. City are a fantastic team. I think Liverpool have improved on last year, whereas City have stayed at that level of great consistency, so I think Liverpool." Rooney told IFL TV (via HITC).
