VBET’s Premier League Insider once again looks away from the obvious with three big-priced football bets for the weekend:
FT: MAN UTD 0 MAN CITY 2
Odds: 8/1
This is hardly an ideal time for United to be playing City following their chastening exit from the Champions League. And with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in trouble, we’ve seen plenty of cash knocking around for a cosy 2-0 away victory at odds of 8/1.
This is understandable as City are cranking up the gears after a stop-start few months. They are also beginning to look potent again up front following a spellof profligacy.
MICHAEL KEANE TO SCORE v CHELSEA
Odds: 13/1
Value is always there when a centre-back scores, and we think Keane fits the bill nicely for this intriguing encounter. Despite Everton’s recent troubles, the England international has been in grand form.
He has also scored twice in the Premier League this season and is especially dangerous at set-pieces. Everton are likely to find life tough against an impressive Chelsea side, but we’ve seen a few interesting bets for Keane to at least make his mark at odds of 13/1 with VBET.
BURNLEY TO DRAW AT ARSENAL
Odds: 3/1
Suitably inspired by a pleasing 1-1 draw against Everton last weekend, odds of 3/1 look appealing about Burnley doing something similar at the Emirates.
Reports of another crisis at Arsenal are probably exaggerated, but Mikel Arteta is simply not getting a tune out of his players ahead of a crunch few weeks.
To that end, the visitors – beginning to look like the old resilient Burnley of past seasons – should be backed to leave London with a point.
