Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has backed Jose Mourinho to sign Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar in January.
Spurs have been linked with the defender during the summer transfer window, while they have not called down their interest.
And Robinson feels Mourinho should strengthen the squad, bringing the £45million rated Skriniar to the North London club.
“Joe Rodon has done excellently well since he came in," he told
Football Insider.
“It was a vital signing before the deadline but I still think Mourinho will strengthen in that area next year.
“Rodon is still young, so is Japhet Tanganga and Davinson Sanchez has been frozen out. I think it is an area they will look at.
“Of course they have very strong options when you consider Alderweireld and Eric Dier as well but there is no harm in signing one more.
“Wow. A player that is of the level of Milan Skriniar would be a welcome addition.”
