Werner prefers to play in other league over the move to Bayern

  RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner prefers to play outside of the Bundesliga and has hinted he won’t join Bayern Munich.  The 24-year-old German international, who has been linked with a possible move to the Premier League, told Sport BILD (via Fabrizio Romano): "A challenge in a foreign league would appeal to me rather than a move to Bayern".

Romano suggests Liverpool want Werner. Jurgen Klopp is willing to see a Bundesliga star in the squad for the next season. However, several other clubs, names not mentioned, are also in the race for Werner. Leipzig striker has a £52 mln release clause in his contract.  Liverpool are willing to pay the price, but Chelsea are reportedly another club that could battle for the player.
