Arsenal attacker Marquinhos has raved about Martin Odegaard following the midfielder's performance for Arsenal against Newcastle United.
Gunners celebrated a 2 - 0 victory over the Magpies in the Premier League on Sunday to gain three important points from the meeting. Odegaard played a crucial role opening the score for his side in the 14th minute of the clash.
The Norway international's huge contribution saw Arsenal maintain pressure on defending champions Manchester City in the title race. Despite City being the favorites, Mikel Arteta's side are now expected to compete with them until the end of the season for the desired trophy.
Marquinhos was highly impressed with Odegaard's latest display and shared his praise for the midfielder on Instagram, writing: "What a player."
