Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is under major pressure and some are already turning their attentions to possible replacements.
Former Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino is one of the names condidered as Arteta replacement.
However, the 48-year-old has previously made his stance clear - by naming Arsenal as one of just three teams he will never manage.
Speaking back in 2018, after five years at Spurs, Pochettino told reporters:
"I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol.
“I grew up in Newell's Old Boys and will never manage Rosario Central.
"That is my decision because I prefer to work on my farm in Argentina than in some places. But my commitment is massive in this club. I am working like I am going to be here forever.
"But in the end, it is like the players, you never know what is going to happen in football. It is a lot of rumours about this, about that.”
And Jose Mourinho once also famously declared he would never manage Tottenham whilst Chelsea manager before replacing Pochettino in north London last year.
