Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering a move for Lille’s defender Gabriel Magalhaes as they need to enforce their defence after losing Wily Boly due to an injury.
Boly is ruled out at least until January through an ankle issue and Wolves seek for a quality centre-back even more urgent.
The 21-year-old Gabriel played the full 90 minutes as his team won 3-0 to secure their impressive start to the campaign, which sees them third in the table with 18 points from 11 matches. Like Boly, he is a physically strong player who is comfortable on the ball. He is under contract with Lille until the end of next season and is yet to earn a senior cap for Brazil but has been capped four times at Under-20 level.
