"Won't happen": Journalist says one Arsenal player is not going to leave at last minute

Journalist Charles Watts is confident that Arsenal's Jorginho will not be leaving the club unexpectedly this summer.

Jorginho only joined Arsenal in January for a £12 million transfer from Chelsea. Since then, the 31-year-old has become a crucial member of Mikel Arteta's squad.

Despite the British transfer window closing, there have been ongoing rumors linking Jorginho with a move away from the Emirates Stadium. Fenerbahce have been mentioned as a potential destination, with the Turkish transfer window set to close on September 15.

However, according to Watts, Arteta sees Jorginho as a vital part of his squad for the current season, indicating that the midfielder is not expected to depart in the near future. Watts shared these insights in his recent YouTube video.

“Now, this won’t happen. I don’t think this is going to happen, by any means," he said, via TBR Football.

“I think I saw a quote from his agent the other day saying he’s very much focused on Arsenal and the Champions League."
