The World's 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams 2019: Manchester United slip from second to sixth

Forbes have released their list of the top 50 most valuable sporting teams in the world, which sees Manchester United tumble down from last year’s ranking. In Forbes’ report, Real Madrid and Barcelona also manage to hold their spots in the top ten among a number of America sporting franchises. The NFL’s Dallas Cowboys lead the list, worth A$7.1b. Premier League side Manchester United slipped from second to sixth in Forbes’ list, with the club valued at A$5.4b. Forbes estimates the Red Devils are down 8% on a year ago, roughly $470 million. Champions League winners Liverpool are 45th on the list with a value of $2.18 billion. Arsenal are in the 42nd place with a value of $2.27 billion. Arsenal’s London rivals –Chelsea are in the 32nd place - $2.58 billion. Premier League champions Manchester City are 25th as they worth $2.69 billion. Bundesliga side Bayern Munich are 17th with a value of $3.02 billion. Barcelona are fourth in the list with a worth of $4.02 billion, while Real Madrid are third- $4.24 billion
