Barcelona manager Xavi has broken the silence regarding Ilkay Gundogan's potential move to the Spanish club.
The German midfielder, whose contract with Manchester City is set to expire this summer, has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, with both Arsenal and Barcelona reportedly interested in acquiring his services.
When asked about Gundogan and a possible move to Barcelona, Xavi shared his thoughts with sports journalist Fernando Polo.
"Well, the only thing I can share is that any footballer we are going to sign and that we have the chance to talk to wants to come here," he said.
"I have not seen any player tell us: no, I prefer to go to another club..." Xavi added.
