Yannick Carrasco's been dropped by Dalian Yifang and now his transfer to Arsenal could not happen as Chinese club manager Cui Kangxi has announced they aren't going to let Belgium international leave the club.
"Carrasco will definitely not be playing tomorrow, and there may be no future matches. It is difficult for me to understand and I am very angry." Kangxi said (via

"Carrasco kept saying he wants to move to Europe. He repeated that many times during the season." he added, mentioning the fact that no one promised the player they will let him leave. They told Carrasco they could help him with the return to Europe if he keeps playing well and helping the team.
Arsenal were understood to be favourites in the race for 25-year-old midfielder, Bayern Munich were also among the interested clubs.
Unai Emery wanted former Atletico Madrid man during January transfer window, but Arsenal failed to reach agreement with Yifang and now it seems even harder that the move of Carrasco to North London could happen.
